Guest murta
Hey guys, my computer has finally settled down now so I've set about sorting out a new chat room. I've got the server setup (on DALnet) I just can't seem to find a good, free java chat applet anywhere, that lets me specify my own IRC server and channel and stuff. Any suggestions? MtBlanc
Have you tried the JPilot jIRC applet yet? I think you can use it to visit any channel. I believe you'd have to have the chan set up on IRC first, becuase I think this app has limited features, but I really don't know. (Computers aren't my forte.) Anyways, if you haven't tried it yet, I'd look at it. Several Mixnmojo sites use it. A shareware version is available at www.jpilot.com I hope this helps, because I'm not fairly computer literate. Guest murta
Yeah, this was my first choice, but since I don't have a licensed version it pops up messages all the time telling me to register it whenever anyone types
MtBlanc
Blast. Well, that's all I got. I have one question though, I enter the chat room on DALnet with mIRC, but I can't see anyone who is in the room with the Java applet. What's the deal here? Guest murta
The current chat room is still on the Superchat server. I've setup a DALnet server, but not setup a java applet for it yet
