How to edit a jrl file

I wanted to add in The Dark Apprentice mod. I know how to edit the 2 da files but I cannot figure out how to edit the jrl file to make the changes .

 

I am sure this must be a simple question to some, and the answer is somewhere but I can't find it.

You could try using the global.jrl merger tool, I think it should work for this. If you prefer to do it manually instead you can use a GFF editor like k-gff to modify the global.jrl file.

thank you so much . I know it was going to be more goof prone with the other tool set this is just what I need.
