Maphisto86
Being the lazy trogladite I am Im posting a private message I sent in an attempt to rectify my problem. It pretty much says what the problem is: This is embarrasing... Long story short I downloaded this Carth uniform mod and installed it: http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/file/Carths_Republic_Uniform;65131. I thought it would only affect Carth's original clothing thus giving me his Republic uniform while using CateCroft's excellent jacket mod: http://d9studios.net/mods/k1_cjackets.html. Suffice to say the Republic uniform mostly replaced that mod. Sooooo.... the former mod was just an edit to the appearance.2da file. Can I uninstall TheJediExile's mod without having to reinstall my entire game? I have Kotortool so I can edit the appearance.2da file. Any help would be...appreciated. So there you have it. Please so I do not have to go back and re-install the game because of one stupid decision I made concerning a mod. I knew I should have made a backup of my Override folder... If you have no other mods installed that have made changes to the appearance.2da file it should be enough to delete that file from your override folder to get things returned to normal. I geussed as much Stoffe... so appearance.2da is not part of the original game huh? Well it's worth a shot. I can't remember any mods that modified that file but if there are I geuss I could track it down and reinstall the mod. I'll check that out and get back to you. As they say here goes nothin... stoffe
I geussed as much Stoffe... so appearance.2da is not part of the original game huh? It is, but it is not stored in the override folder unless it was placed there by a mod. If you remove it from the override folder the game will load the original file found inside the 2da.bif file instead, making it revert to the default data. I have checked the mods Im using and as far as I can tell none of them have the appearance.2da file. Now I feel stupid making a thread about this. Thanks stoffe...
