Yosy Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 I ADORE Grim Fandango. The best game ever produced, future generations will look upon it as a piece of art, a timeless classic, a myth of the adventure games. I wil NEVER, NEVER leave the Grim Fandango world be forgotten in a dark corner of my head! And I know that El Marrow waits for me when I check-out.
lipton Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 you are most right! after playing the game for who knows what time i felt like building Rubacava 1:1
mewster Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 We recently moved, and during our unpacking, I came across a box of old computer games I had in storage. So, of course, using any excuse to slack off, I started playing GF again (figured my husband could use the exercise of lifting boxes by himself anyway;)) My God, it effected me more this time around than the first time I played it eight years ago. I had forgotten how wonderful the voice work was, how darned attached I became to Manny, and how sad I would become when it all ended. (I know, I know. As one wise soul would advise, just enjoy the ride.) Hell, I even watched Ugly Betty last night for the sole purpose of hearing Manuel Calavera "speak" again. LOL Mew of the Skelton Crew
