rebel missions

If i take a rebel mission from the terminal does that make me an open target to players that are empire affilated?how eactly does it work?i am not into pvp and would like to keep it that way.

All terminal missions are for NPC stuff, so you will become combatant. This means that Imperial NPCs can attack you - but you won't get involved in any pvp battles unless you go Special Forces
