blawford
I have just installed Escape from MI on Vista and am having a few problems. Firstly Guybrush doesn't stop walking when I take my finger off the up arrow, he carrys on walking until I tap the up arrow which then makes him stop. Also whenever I carry out an action (talk/look/pickup/inventory etc) he starts walking forward as well. In a similar manner when I'm on any of the menu's and press the up arrow, it cycles through the menu options. The above problems are annoying, but possibly bearable, the one that isn't is whenever I go into the inventory the items spin round very fast. I am able to select them by holding 'p', but whatever gets selected is purely random. Any ideas on a fix, I'm running Vista now (32bit) but I've had this running on my PC before (when I was on XP, with no problems). Patched from the EA site aswell. Thanks. Ralph Wiggum
Hi Blawford. Do you have a controller connected to your pc as same thing happened to me and when I disconnected controller, the problem was solved. Hope this helps
blawford
Actually found out the problem was the keyboard I was using... Changed it for a different one and the problem went away.
