Need Help Finding tutorial

I am not sure if making a new map is possible, since I haven't been able to find how to do it, with my searching for information so I thought that I would see if anyone could help me on these forms.

 

I am looking for a tutorial on how to make maps, or at least edit the original ones into something different. If someone could give me a link to a good tutorial on how to do this I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Hey revanmg, welcome to the forums , If your just getting into modding i suggest that you start with a few smaller mods first, as Module editing can be very difficult, i found that out when i wanted to do what you are wanting to do, i went ahead and did it anyway and failed miserably, though now module editing is my specialty.

 

You should go to the Getting started with modding + List of Tools + downloads thread to get you started.

 

There are some tutorials here that you can read through and see what you want to do.

 

But just because you asked and I'm nice there is a Module Creation guide here, It's a little outdated but it does the job, I'm currently writing an updated Module Creation guide with all the easier ways to do this.

thanks, that was helpful I will check these out. I have looked at the Getting started with modding thing although I wanted a more in depth resource. I have modded for other games but these tools are much more different and I want to figure out how they work. I am defiantly going to look at the links you provided. Thanks again.
