A KOTOR2 mod fixed this by upping the blaster damage a bit (e.g. 1-6 became 1-8...) Any chance of seeing one for KOTOR? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
swfan28 Posted July 11, 2007 Share Posted July 11, 2007 That is actually very easy to do. All you have to do is edit the baseitems.2da. The problem is that this mini-mod would not be compatible with many other mods because many mods modify the same file. You could edit the file yourself in any way you like. All weapons in the game use a template from baseitems.2da. Higher quality weapons simply get some bonuses that make them more powerful than standard weapons so you can change the damage values of all weapons by editing this one file. The weapon damege is determined by the values in the numdice and dietoroll columns. Critical hit range is determined by the critthreat column and critical hit multiplier by crithitmult column.
