jessefett
The mss32.dll file for kotor 2 does not work with vista (I'm assuming you got vista cause I never heard that message on xp) So what you do is, first back up the the k2 dll file cause you'll need it to install patches. Then go into k1 folder copy the mss32.dll file and paste it into k2 folder. When it asks if you what u want to do click copy and replace. And run it in compatibility mode with xp serv pack 2. That should make it run fine. But if you dont have k1 there are downloads for the .dll on file front sorry I dont know the exact location on it. JMartin25
thanks^^ you're advice helped an awful lot. I copied the dll file after adding the word 'old' to the end of the other one that seems to have done the trick
