Lalaith
Hi Everyone I'm new to these forums and new to modding and Im a bit overhwelmed but I think I am getting the hang of it slowly. First off I'd just like to thank all of you for putting up all the great guides and tutorials to help newbies like me! Now to the snag hehe. I used all your excellent threads and tutorials to make a robe based off of the Mataki Apprentice robe (a_robe_05). The file is there, I can see it in the save game editor and when I give the item to myself in-game the new robe is there and the stats appear all right. However I also made a nice blue colored texture and icon for it and they do not seem to be showing up.. At first I was getting the Mataki robe's texture, then I twiddled and fiddled around trying to fix it myself... Now I'm getting some generic brown robe texture lol... I think I need help hehe. Somehow I've missed a step. What do I need to do to make the file refer to the texture & icon I made? If anyone has a suggestion I'd be most grateful- thanks in advance

This is usually handled via the TextureVariation number you set in the item template (.UTI file) for the robe. The number you set in this field should correspond to the number at the end of the filename of your new texture and icon. If, for example, you set the TextureVariation to 20, your textures should be named PMBM20.tga/PFBM20.tga and your icon ia_ClassZS_020.tga.

Thank you SO much- I'll go try that right now- I'm pretty sure thats *just* where the problem is. Thank you!
