JA MP Problem - Menu goes black

Ok, so I clicked on the JA icon on my desktop, the launcher came up, and I clicked Multiplayer Game. When the LucasArts logo came up, I clicked to get past the intros faster, but the screen froze. I could still hear the main menu music, and when I moved the mouse around, I could hear faint beeps every once in a while like the cursor was moving over a menu option, but the screen was still frozen on the LA logo.

 

So I brought up the task manager, and ended the program. I tried again, except this time, I let the intros go on and just waited for the menu to come up. After all the intros were done, I could once again hear the music, but the screen was all black this time.

 

My PC runs on Vista, and I have it set to run as administrator. It had been working fine for a while up until today, so I'm not exactly sure what's wrong. And it is just multiplayer that has a problem. I tried SP and it worked just fine.
