LtChae
I've been attempting to replace T3M4 (In k1) with a custom npc, (A human Jedi/technician). I'm using Kotor tool, but I cannot get any of the changes I've made to the t3m4 template file to work into the game itself.
Dragoon ZER0
What's the status of the save you're using to test (as far as T3 is concerned)? As long as he hasn't joined yet and you've got the right file in the override folder, you should be fine. You're editing the -BIFs --templates.bif ---Blueprint, Character ----p_t3m4.utc Correct? Also, you do realize that the instance of T3 in Janice Nall's shop (before he joins) uses a separate .utc and was set in stone as soon as you loaded the Upper City for the first time. That one would be: -RIMs --Modules ---tar_m02ab_s.rim ----storet3m4.utc I'm not trying to insult you, but I have no idea how much modding experience you have. LtChae
Ah, so I need to actually start a new game for this to take effect? (Been testing with a Dantooine save) And no, I'm not trying for anything fancy with the droid shop, I'm just trying for a straight-up model/name/class switch. Shadow51689
Key quote. Also, you do realize that the instance of T3 in Janice Nall's shop (before he joins) uses a separate .utc and was set in stone as soon as you loaded the Upper City for the first time. I ran into similar problems with another NPC, took me a while to figure out I had to revert to a saved game before meeting the NPC.
