ChimpZealot Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Hi all, after starting RS the intro videos play fine, but right after that I just get a blank screen with music playing in the background. I'm running Windows XP SP2, and I have a GeForce 4 mx 420 (driver version is 45.23, downgraded to fix the "could not initialize HAL" error). I've tried running it in every compatibility mode, but to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
ChimpZealot Posted October 30, 2007 Author Posted October 30, 2007 Just an update, I fixed this by copying the contents of the data folder off the cd and into the rogue squadron folder. Hope this helps anyone else who had the problem.
