The Republic was fighting a powerful enemy the Ashana. They were a pirate group that came from the world Tortagu. The republic fought them almost to complete destruction. The Sith came to help the Ashana with the Pirate War. Pirate Lord Shene Tobia lead a segment called Cirriban. The Cirriban was the strongest segment. The Pirate war began.
