HdVaderII
For my mod I'm working on, I need to add sound in the dialog of my alien characters. For example, you can talk to a rodian, and i want to know how, by using tk102's dlgeditor, to get rodian sounds onto his dialog. I'm not exactly sure how to do this, and I could use some help. Ferc Kast
From the main directory of where you installed your game go to the folder labeled StreamVoice; Then, go to the folder labeled AVO; You should many folders...For your Rodian, worry only about the ones that start _Rodi. The next letter (M or F) will represent male or female. The last letters of the folder show what type of dialog it is. An = Angry Cmn = Comment Gre = Greetings?? Hap = Happy Moc = Mocking Ple = Pleading?? Que = Question Sa = Sad Sac = Scared Then, in each folder there should be dialogs with the endings L, M or S. They represent the length of each one. S is short; M is Medium; L is long. Then, type the name of the file you want to use in the dialog editor in the box labeled "VO_ResRef". That's all you need to know about alien voiceovers in a nutshell.
