Deadmeat1587246448
Help help help Ive got a PSOne, and a 8 mb memorycard from 3A. It's pretty cool, it has 150 blocks so you never have to worry if you got space to save games. The 150 blocks are divided in 8 pages, and on the card is a small LCD-displays, to display the current page. When you start the PSX, the "8" will flash for about a second, then the number changes to the page you were looking at last time you played. So what, you might think Well, yesterday, i first started the machine without a cd in it, to check the memorycard. Everything ok, i turn PSOne off, put Colin McRea 2 in, close the thing, start it..... The number on the card kept flashing, instead of just showing the current page! When i tried, i couldnt save, load or even check the contents! My memorycard is fu(ked! If its really broken, tons and tons of gameplay will be lost (i just got to cd 4 with FF8). So if anyone here has experience with 3A-cards, please help! ------------------ I'm the root of all that's evil yeah but you can call me cookie. brief
I'm afraid you're out of luck... IIRC, the instructions for PS memory cards specifically tell you to not leave the memory card in the PS slots while turning it on or off... You're supposed to plug it in after the machine has booted up, and to take it out before you turn the power off. So basically, yeah, you're f***ed. ------------------ "He's looking at me like I'm a chicken! I'm not a chicken! Deadmeat1587246448
What the......? I used it for about half a year now, and i never plugged it in after booting it up! In fact, i even thought it was bad for the card if you got it out before you turned the thing off. Well seems like i have to buy a new one now......... ------------------ I'm the root of all that's evil yeah but you can call me cookie.
