Borgslayer
I recently installed BF1 after going quite sometime without playing. After it installed, I get in, and I notice that the menus are loading a little bit faster than normal. I got in game, and things are moving faster, like 4 or 5 times the speed they should. I tried messing around in video settings. I tried updates 1.1 and 1.2. I tried video card updates, nothing. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and still nothing. My comp is AMD 6000+ Radeon X1900 GT Soundblaster Audigy LS 22 inch monitor 4 gig DDR 800 RAM (I think someone has already posted a thread like this, but it has not been responded to) I hope someone can help me with my problem Borgslayer
Luqkim
Are you using a dual-core processor PC? This "hyperspeed" problem tends to happen when you're playing on a dual-core PC, and it happened to my game, and Knights of the Old Republic as well. I found a way to fix it. First, after you launch the game and go to the Menu screen, press Ctrl+Alt+Del, that will bring you to the Task Manager window. From there, click on the "Processes" tab and scroll down till you find "Battlefront.exe". Double click on it and click on "Set Affinity", from there you will see 2 ticks on CPU 0 and CPU 1. Just untick ONE of this and return to your game. It should run smoothly. Do this everytime you load the game.
