[WIP] [K1] DS Transition Re-Skin of IF Male Head Pack

I am new to the modding community so am hoping I interpreted the rules right and put this thread in the correct location, if not please move it and all will be well. Essentially this thread is to talk about a potential mod I am working on. I asked Inyri Forge's permission to alter the standard eyes on her Male Head Pack for K1 and re-work the dark side transitions in them. I know that Shem released a mod that basically does that called Movie Style Dark Side Transitions and he did great on it, but since I am learning the basics of skinning, modeling, etc. and missed having some physical dark side signs, I thought to do this mod.

 

Essentially what this is is a very easy (I use easy loosely as after fumbling with photoshop for more than a few days now and sorting through tutorials, I see how much harder I was making it than I needed to) hue/saturation job on the dark side heads in the pack. I have only done one head so far, and not to full completion (I still need to work with the sith eyes). I modified my favorite head in the game from IF's pack to have blue instead of brown eyes. Each dark side transition I recolored so that your skin tone becomes only slightly more pale as you go to the dark side yet the area near the eye sockets will still develop that darkened veiny patch. The plan is to make the first step dark side eyes a darker shade of standard color, then the next step darker to be black with a hint of sith coloring and finally have the final pure evil head with full on sith eyes.

 

What I really need to know is if there is any demand for this mod. I have every intention of taking it to completion for my own personal use, at which time since I have permission I would release it as another head addon pack so as to NOT overwrite what IF has done for work, but to merely compliment it. I still need to hash out some .2da editing before I can say for sure that can happen. If there is a demand for this, then I could plug away at it and try and have it wrapped up in a few days.

 

I want to be perfectly clear though that the heads I am working with I did not create, they are the work of Inyri Forge. Inyri was just kind enough to give me permission to work with them should this project move forward in the public forum here.
