eLFie Posted May 31, 2008 Share Posted May 31, 2008 This is about servers, so really, unless you know anything about them, you shouldn't read on. Right, if your still here, let's get onto it! I've been trying to set up a server for the last few days, I have set ports 28060 to 28062 and ports 28070 to 28081, protocol 'both' to my ip address. The enable box is ticked. I have attempted to use both the Win32 Dedicated Server, and also tried setting it up from the actual game. I'm completely unsure of what to check or do next, sometimes people are able to join, other times, no one can join. My jk2Ded shortcut uses this as its target: "H:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast\GameData\jk2Ded.exe" +set fs_game academy +exec ds-online.cfg wait 2; +exec server.cfg - Academy being the name of the DS-Online folder. Would anything else need to be added to this, or does anyone know anything that could be stopping it? I've tried it with zone alarm off, ca anti-virus on snooze (which is off)and I've enabled the port 28070 through Windows Firewall.
