VdFExarKun Posted June 14, 2008 Share Posted June 14, 2008 hi there! my first post on this magnificent forum - please be gentle with me =O i came before you because ive got a problem since a couple of days. my first attempt of adding a new playable char to TSL failed and its continuing to fail. i just cant get it to work. im very sure that ive done something wrong or missed something but until a few months or propably ten years i wont find out. at first i just wanted to add two transitions to stoffes twi'lek exile mod but it turned out as a new mod. i made my own .2das(not directly my own - just used the tslpatcher to create an .ini etc), .tgas, textures etc usw. i think i read every single tutorial that ive found and im beginning to understand the mechanics but i reached a point where i dont got any clue what wrong is. ive tried and tried, ive searched and searched for the failure, ive searched the forums but didnt find anything that would be a solution for me. description of my problem: when i install my little mod in my modfree override and run the game, the head of my cute twi'lek wont show up but she got a (standard)body and is not wearing the textures that i made for my little cutie pretty twi'leki. im talking about texb textures which i defined in the appearance.2da for her. after the charcreation ive got an invisible twi'lek in the prolog at the medstation on the hawk (perhaps i should rename her to jessica alba - invisible woman/fantastic 4 you know and revan would be dr. doom ). she keeps hiding at the medstation on peragus. after getting out of the kolto tank and the few cutscenes my little cutie invisibli pretty sexy twi'leki insists of standing still. the game doesnt freeze or something except that im not able to turn the camera. ive checked x-times my files, tested it x-times and got frustrated x-times. i just dont know what to do. none of the tuts or the sufu helped so far im trying to find the problem a week or so now and i dont get it. me just wanna see ma little cutie invisibli mighty pretty sexy twi'leki transforming ingame ==> ive got the feeling if i wont get this tiny mod to work i wouldnt be able to make a new model someday if somebody of you feels himself able to help or to solve my problem s/he can has my so far "finished" mod - just leave a message. io to check it with years of knowledge and modding experience. cheers ExarKun Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

VdFExarKun Posted June 15, 2008 Author Share Posted June 15, 2008 i just renamed the aurorabase of the original and exported it with only geom. because the model hasnt come with animations in gmax. that means that the animations of that model is elsewhere "stored", am i right? edit: hm i opened the exported ascii file of the headmodel in gmax and im little bit confused or curios because the headmodels coordinates arent 0/0 but they were as i exported the model. these new coordinates in the exported file could match the position of the head ingame and i think that is the problem. btw theres another thing in this exported file. in the "selected object" window every single bone etc exists twice. is that normal in an exported file?!?! edit2: skip the coordinates, theyre correct, my eyes tricked me^^ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
