directions in swamp

ive got the directions and the clock and im using the raft. but i cant understand the directions. and whats with the clock??? it shows a different time with the one in my directions anyway.

you look at the time on the clock and example: if it is 1:40 on the clock then look at your directions and see where do you have to go when it is 1:40 and if you see 1:40E so you go east and you do the same for the rest.
