Silver Monkey Mug

I can't seem to get the stupid mug! I was even forced to read the walkthrough and all it said was to glue the cartoon drawing of myself to the starbucaneers mug and to switch it with the monkey mug. But the game won't let me glue the cartoon drawing on... why not? this is so frustrating
