CA8802 Posted August 10, 2008 Share Posted August 10, 2008 Is it possible to ad a new class of lightsaber if you add a new column to upcrystals.2da, a new line in baseitems.2da, and of course had all the .utis, models and textures normal to a new item? If not is there a way to make a melee weapon that upgrades with lightsaber crystals instead of melee upgrades? If so is there a way to make it so that it changes skins based on the color crystal equipped? Or at least lock the color crystal slot so that only the upgrade crystals can be changed? Or if all of that is impossible can you somehow make a lightsaber with base damage of a different type than the normal lightsaber?(like say I want 1d8 slashing and 1d8 energy instead of 2d8 energy). Again, is it possible for the new lightsaber to have its own textures/models, and have it change between them based on the color crystal, or failing that lock only the color crystal slot? Thank you for putting up with all my questions, I'm really hoping I'll be able to do what I'm trying edit: How do you check if a container contains a certain item? I've seen checking if there's a container already in place, and adding items, but not checking if the container already has a specific item.
