Need help with getting prosthetic hand

I've been trying to get the prosthetic hand by playing the music box, but so far have had no luck!! I assume that its in the basket closest to the door, but by the time Guy finishes asking Dave if he can play the music box, walks over to the basket the music is almost done! Then, when I get to the basket, and use the "pick up" command, he keeps saying I don't need the entire basket, maybe just one, and then the music is done! What am I doing wrong?!? Help!!

Well.... maybe you should let the wooden prosthetic hand to highlight up at the bottom! Here's a hint: You can push the button "page down" on your keyboard to pick other items that are't highlighted at the bottom of your screen. :}

OK. I finally was offered the choice of hand or leg when I went to the basket, so I was able to get what I needed. Thanks! Now I need to know, where are the termites?!?! Help!

have you explored the entire island? the termites are not that hard to find...

The termites are in the baitte shop on the island near the Harbor

I didn't need to use the music box to get the wooden hand. I just picked it up, Dave said something like 'Is someone there?' and Guybrush said 'No', then I pocketed the hand.

I never had to use the music box either in picking up the hand, never knew what I needed it for
