Knights of the Old Republic 2 The Sith Lords save game

I cant seem to play the game after I created the character (after the first movie is played). I can still hear the beeping sound in the background but the screen is totally dark. I usually had to shift + alt + del right after. it could be because of my graphic cards, but I tried downloaded one save game from the internet (one of the few that I found), and I can play the game as usual.

 

The problem is that, the save game that I downloaded is up until about the middle of the game so I can't play from the start. I was just wondering if anyone can make me a save game just after the first movie?

 

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out
