.2da merge problem Avol's Vader And Paragon's Maul *Kotor2*

Hey just got kotor2 for my pc played it on the xbox loved it the mods are what drew me towards the pc version :)

 

Okay so i downloaded Avol's Vader mod and Paragon's Maul mod

 

iv merged the two apperance.2da and portrait.2da from each mod and this is where my problem begins

 

I dont want to start the game as vader

so im using the giveitem Avol_arm_vader command to gain vader armour

 

So im starting as the maul head i use adddarkside to give me the real maul apperance but upon entering the vader cheat the vader armour once equipped is replaced with some other robes(not sure of the name) and there just green without the vader helmet now ideally id like to be able to equip the vader armour and have it override the maul apperance like it does to any of the other playable heads (maybe have it so i can equip it to a party memeber)

 

Also upon starting with the bald scarred white male equipping the vader robes turns me into maul wearing the green robes

 

Basically eventually im looking to be able to switch between Vader,Maul,Revan,Tyranus,Malak,Nihilus,Sion and sidious (if there is even a mod available for sidious) ohh and starkiller if anyone makes a decent mod for him

 

All Help would be appreciated im prepared to follow any tutorials to achive the above

If i get all this worked out and i gain all authors permission ill package every thing up into a .RAR for the community (i know its not alot but it will help some people)

I'd say one of the two (Maul or Vader) is overriding a default model or texture. The armband possibly transforms you into that altered model (disguise). But being Maul to start with, it's an added model, which means when you try to disguise yourself as Vader while using a new model, you can't go back to the original model due to the fact that it's not a default model to begin with.

 

It will take a pretty good amount of .2da editing..

 

Either that, or somehow make the maul head model an armband..

 

Though, I'm new to the business, so my opinion can't be taken too greatly. I recommend asking some of the more.. Experience modders.
