Manual and Auto save files gone

I use Vista Home Premium 64 bit. I don't use any mods and haven't uninstalled the game. I only had one character. I haven't played KOTOR II for a few weeks and when I came back to resume play, all my saved games were gone.

I did a little more searching in this forum and found my answer. I went into the Lucas Arts folder, found and opened KOTOR II folder, single clicked on the "Saves" folder, left clicked on the "compatability Files" tab at the top of the screen, double clicked on the "Saves" folder found, then copied the saved games found and put them into the original "Saves" folder, then I was able to see my saved games, in game.
