Achilles
err...trying to wrap my brain around how this would work. With indie movies, the director (typically) puts himself into hock hoping that his movie will be picked up by a major distributor (typically at a festival) and big payday ensues. Based on my limited understanding of how the gaming industry works, I don't see how indie game makers plan on getting reimbursed. Don't distributors commission games from producers (or something along those lines)?
