cukz Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 I've been pouring through the sdk, and haven't come up with anything - A) Is it possible to increase the bots speed in game without affecting the game speed of human clients? B) If not, is it possible to get the bots to utilize force_speed? This would help a lot in ctf - most players strafe jump - the bots are just slow annoyances that provide no significant challenge. They don't have to be great fighters, but if they could simply be programed to move faster (similar to a .npc tweak) the game would be a lot more fun.
Tinny Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 Have you looked at the code in Pmove where it does the speed check for whether force speed or force rage has been activated? If so, you can try adding a check similar to that and have a check if the client is a bot and adjust the speed accordingly .
