Drunken_Sailor Posted January 7, 2001 Author Share Posted January 7, 2001 Thx to you Grannen and everyone else!!!I'm now in act 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!=)I gave the rope to history Guybrush automitacally,but I found Pegnoses house.Now I am on Melee Island again.I'm really enjoying the game!But it can be I have a technical problem or something.I talked to the Harbor Mistress first time.Second time it stands on the dialog "Talk to Harbor Mistress" but Guybrush stands still and don't do anything.Is that some kind of technical problem.I've also got problems with the sound on the game=(Has anyone here had this problem??And what should I do?? Guest grannen Posted January 7, 2001 Share Posted January 7, 2001 Many have reported problems with the graphics and frozen picture. Several bugs are reported but no 100% solution exists. If you are desperate try this: Disconnect Joystick/Gamepad and make the corresponding changings in Menu-Options. Don´t use the Alt key. Download the 1.1 patch from Lucas Art. (Eventually run the DirectX diagnostics and change the refresh rate for the Graphic Board from Default to ???. As a don´t know the Default value I can´t give you any figure to enter. Then goto the kitchen and make sabotage with the help of your grogg. I Cheese Posted January 7, 2001 Share Posted January 7, 2001 Go to the Lua Bar, sit on the stool and order a flaming scuttlefish. Time it so it sits below the painting, and jam the sushi boat propulsion mechanism with the paintbrush. When the chef runs out, go to the kitchen and pour the grog into the steam generator. That should get you the painting. Back to the harbor go to your boat. Place the earrings on the headpiece. Then give it the necklace, pen and painting. ------------------ G ROG!!!
