Quick question about merging 2da files / making 2 mods compatible.

Hello all! I'm recently getting back into KOTOR again, and I've been trying to use some mods to freshen up the experience. I'm using T7's delightful WOTOR mod, but I would also like to use CA8802's Balance of the Spirit lightsaber mod. However, there is a problem. The mods share files.

As far as I can tell, there is only one conflicting file, upcrystals.2da. CC8802 even covers this in the readme, saying that

Compatability:

I don't have a list of what this mod is compatible with, but it shouldn't conflict with anything that doesn't edit upcrystals.2da, Suvam's third inventory, or have lightsabers that use model variation 10.

If the upcrystals.2da is the only thing conflicting with a mod it is a really easy fix. Just open the upcrystals.2da file from the other mod with Kotor Tool, add a new line and put the next sequential number in the (Row Label) column, then copy the rest of the fields from the last line in his mod's upcrystals.2da. Save and use the upcrystals that you just edited.

I might release a version later that is compatible with everybody else's lightsaber mods, but that probably won't be for a while unless I'm the only one who made lightsabers that use model variation 10. I'm not too sure what I'm doing with modeling, so it would probably take a day or two for me to successfully change what model variation this lightsaber is.

However, I'm still kind of noobish when it comes to editing, and while it's probably "really easy" for other modders, I have no idea how to do it. So, if anyone could give me a bit more of a basic walkthrough on how to merge the two 2da files, I'd appreciate it! Thanks.

(Or, if someone wanted to be extra generous, and could merge the two together for me, I would be greatly appreciative. I am still sorting out my files from when I had to move everything to a new hard drive and reinstall windows after my last hard drive went down, so I no longer have the .NET framework installed and have to reinstall KOTOR tool, too. Be sure to backup your hard drives, everyone!)
