Edited saber properties, but isn't showing up in KSE

Okay, a whole new issue.....

 

I used a different tutorial, which was very complicated....

 

I followed the steps of extracting everythig and anything (uti, tpc, mdl, mdx etc.) and editing the thing in a hex editor....which nearly made my brain melt.

 

I made sure everything was the same, but when I put it in kse, it showed a saber in front of a dark green background..... o__O;;

 

I know I [explicit word removed] up, but I'm not sure where....

 

...and now all the mdl files open with kotor mdlops ((which doesn't seem bad, but when I click on it, it pops up in the window, and then the window closes....

 

... o_o I think I need to stop screwing around with my computer....

 

Any ideas on the saber and the mdl files?
