Help in the swamp

I got the clock and the directions, and i know i'm looking for pegnose pete, but how do i use the clock with the directions? i keep going around in circles.

look at the instructions and follow them.

Right... here goes :

 

1) look at the directions and write them down. I.E: write the times and compass points down.

 

2) Before you get on the raft, use the clock with the raft.

 

3) look at the time at the bottom right. If it says on your paper 12:55 N, go N or north.

once your there, repeat the process.

 

4)keep doing this until you reach a gate with a future Gybrush there.

 

5) WRITE DOWN WHAT HE SAYS AND WHAT HE GIVES YOU AS YOULL NEED TO DO THE SAME THINGS HE DID WHEN YOU MEET YOUR PAST!

 

6) follow directinos again.

 

7) when your finally at the past gybrush, do the exact things the future gybrush did including what he said.

 

8) follow directions again.

 

9) at pegnoses hideout, listen to the conversation, then put the chicken grease on the welcome mat, and then throw the duck in the window.

 

10) youv caught pegnose pete and saved the day!! ( But not your innosence GROAN )
