___ACROBAT___ Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 I found a map called Igstrafev6c, and it's not released anywhere with no readme. Can anyone tell me anything about this map or its author or the clans that used this jk2 map?
DaybreakWolf Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 It's a map for practicing movement with instagib CTF in mind. Author was Kast, a member of the instagib clan immortalGaming. I reuploaded the map here: http://files.filefront.com/igstrafev6cpk3/;13919445;/fileinfo.html Instagib community's fairly dead these days. More's the pity, definitely some of the best fun I've had. Oh, keep in mind that instagib is played with g_speed 415 rather than the default 250.
Kurgan Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 I played a little instagib in the UT days... never tried it in JK2/JA (isn't it called "Disruption"?). Maybe I should try it out... if it's not a big deal to put up on my server, I could run a round or two of it, depending upon if it's enjoyed.
DaybreakWolf Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 It's called disruption if force powers are used; normal instagib only has force jump enabled. Disruption servers died out in JK2 a few years ago and were replaced with normal instagib. The .[mVp]. InstaGib (78.143.19.186:4004) CTF server is still up atm, check it out if you want to get a feel for the game. If you want to run instagib on your server you'll need CJK-Mod: http://files.filefront.com/CJK+Mod+060zip/;13921146;/fileinfo.html
___ACROBAT___ Posted June 22, 2009 Author Posted June 22, 2009 BK (Blueknight) told me that a player named Dirt made it.
___ACROBAT___ Posted July 3, 2009 Author Posted July 3, 2009 I really want to find something called CJK mod that goes well with this map. It told you the time you carried the flag on ctf mode. Can't find it on jk2files or maybe wrong name?
DaybreakWolf Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 Here: CJK-Mod: http://files.filefront.com/CJK+Mod+060zip/;13921146;/fileinfo.html
