I finally got the parrot who tells the truth to tell me which boulder the hat is under. However when I try to take the puppets out of my inventory Guybrush keeps saying I can’t? I doubled check & I’m sure I’m speaking to the right (truth) parrot. What gives?

After I get the correct answer from the parrot who is drunk & they fly off & back & offer a parrot more grog. If the response

is that he has had enough I know that’s the right parrot. If the parrot drinks the grog then I know it’s the wrong parrot. I always give the parrot two drinks. Ao I know the trith parrot is giving me the answer. Why can’t I take out the puppets?

Try to sober the truth telling parrot. Maybe thats the problem, that both are drunk.

 

When you are at the right boulder they should disappear and not coming back.

I’m still stuck! I’m pretty sure I’m at the right boulder but Guybrush won’t let me take out the puppets? Oh well I’ll try again some other day.

Thanks, I finally got it. The parrot telling the truth has to be sober when he tells you that you are at the right bolder. If he is drunk the birds won’t fly off.

On to act III…………………………………….
