yhtomit313 Posted September 11, 2009 Share Posted September 11, 2009 So I installed JK2 on my Vista machine and the game runs perfectly, except that the brightness value changes about every 2-3 minutes. The screen gets significantly darker and I have to go into the game options and play with the brightness slider to basically reset it. I've tried running the game in compatability mode and as administrator, same thing. I also tried to install the 1.04 patch, however every time I've tried to update my version (or my version of EaW too for that matter), I get an error message that says it's not the original. I'm thinking this might be because the version of these games that I purchased is the 5 game bundle 'Best of PC' version, but that's just a guess.
