Graphical problem

I just installed the game, and whenever I start the game the screen is all black. The quickmenu buttons and all the other stuff on the interface are there, and I can interact with other characters (the soldier who helps you out at the start). What I do see is a shroud of mist hanging in the room. For the rest it's all black.

Also in the menu, I can see the menu buttons and even use them, but Darth Malak, who stands next to it, isn't there, it's also black.

 

I have played the game in the past and it worked just fine then. The only difference in my computer now is that I added some RAM and I replaced the harddrive. My video card is a ATI Radeon X300. It may be pretty old, but so is the game, so that shouldn't pose a problem. My CPU is 2Ghz (single core).

 

I hope this hasn't been discussed on an other thread, if it is, I apologize, but I haven't read every single thread.
