STFU2 won't start

So I bought STFU2 for PC with much anticipation today. I get home, install it, everything works out fine until I go to start it. It switches to an "ActiveMovie Window" and hangs there. Occasionally, it will crash if I try and exit out of that window or switch back to the fullscreen window which is still open.

 

Has anyone else had this problem, or am I just "special" today? I have never had this issue with a game right off the shelf before. I'm running Windows 7 and I can guarantee my computer meets the minimum specifications.
