Stuck on act 3:

I've gotten the Bronze hat from JJJ and I've opened the giant monkey head. How do I get chimps into it and what is supposed to go into the slot? I've got the milk bottle and dropped the boulder into the lava too.

 

Also, I have a very interesting chart for monkey combat that I think people should copy (the format I mean, I'm assuming the moves and stances are different each game.)

Don't worry about them,they will come when the time is right.As for the slot,something from Herman that has with ships to do would be fine

I'm stuck in the same place. I can't get anything from Herman, I've tried hitting him with the coconut, milk bottle, accordion... with no result, there's no way to have a conversation with him.

 

Another thing: what I'm supposed to do with big monkey's statue ear.

 

Please, gimme some hints.

You can get a different conversation out of Herman, by hitting him first with the coconut THEN the milk bottle as far as I can tell. But it's all useless info IMO.

 

I have diverted the lava into the monkey head but I don't know what I'm supposed to get from Herman.
