Revan Disguise Clipping Error

Hey everyone

 

I'm currently replaying through KoTOR and I'm playing the BOS:SR mod, as well as the Revan Cape Fix. Having gone through these forums I managed to find instructions on how to get the cape fix to work for the mask-less robes used by BOS:SR, by giving the robe the disguise quality, replace the mdl and mdx files etc.

 

My problem is that most of the time it doesn't seem to be working right. My PC's head clips through the mask part of the disguise, though it still covers his eyes, and it still clips with the hood itself. Sometimes it does work properly on a lucky load and once it has loaded properly it continues to work, but more oten then not when I equip the robes I get this clipping error.

 

Is there an easy way to fix this? have I accidently replaced the wrong files or renamed the files incorrectly? I'm not sure if that is the problem as it works correctly sometimes.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

That whole model (revan's robes) clips horribly, i don't know why people love/use that stuff so much... (sorry, not being very helpful).

Well yes which is why I'm using the Cape Fix mod.

Well, its not so urgent now. The journal entries for solomon's revenge in all my saves have corrupted so I'm stuck when I load back into the Main Chamber after beating Akiara Sin, or whatever his name is.

 

I can't fix the journal entries and I wasn't smart enough to have kept a save from before I started the whole thing so my entire game is screwed.

 

Back to the beginning. I'll play through again and see if I keep having my various problems (I'm re-installing the game and mods from scratch)
