Is it possible to do this? I cannot install Jedi Knight on the laptop, as I need admin privileges. I have the official CDs of Dark Forces II and Mysteries of the Sith. I've copied over my installation of JK from my home XP machine but the game launcher has "install Jedi Knight". Later games have a .ini of .cfg file with installation paths and all that but this doesn't seem to.

I've gotten Thief Gold and Thief 2 to work from the USB - I installed them onto the USB drive on my XP machine and changed the installation drive letters accordingly for the laptop (and had to install other stuff to get the games to run on Windows 7).

I can run Jedi Outcast just fine but, ahem, it's not, a, uh, murmur mutter mutter...
