Radeon 6850 + Quad Core + ( i read Fix Threads) + Low Graphics issue

Guys! I read the posts above, did most of the fix :

 

Installed using compatibility mode, changed mss file, put ati file in folder.

 

but now, i cant acess advanced options in screen.

So i deleted that atiogl file, and i was able to change the advanced options.

 

Though, i did get that ati file from internet, maybe i should try get my own file.Because i have the most update catalyst.... Anyway, Theres still some lags in game, and i dont know how to fix it. I tried messing with catalyst , but no luck until now.

 

Hopefully, someone knows how.

Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1 doesnt seem to help.

Im Downloading the last radeon driver again, and gonna try to unzip it and extract atioglxx.dll

Still lagging. Vertex helps a lot. It seems that atiogl is also helping but, still lag sometimes.

Have you tried the command code from the second post in the installation thread?

 

It makes the game run only on a single core, which may fix the issue.

I'm almost certain it's an issue with the Optical Drive. I have a Blu Ray drive that doesn't work for crap and there's no driver updates for it online. If you have a decent Optical Drive, you can probably update the drivers for it. Also, download the SecuROM updates in the installation sticky thread.
