Gerevick
I have read this fine piece of literary work. It contains all the information about Darth Vader´s life support system that I was hoping to find. Interesting how he breaths through the air filter on his back and not through his nose or mouth while the ventilator is in operation. I would like to know how the voluntary process of inhalation/exhalation is suspended to allow the oxygen to circulate artificially. How the machinary prevents asphyxiation from setting in due to the lack of intake through the nasal passages or the trachea is something I wish to understand better.
