Leviathan Torture Scene Bug

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

First post here, so apologies if this has been answered or solved already and if I make myself sound stupid along the way!! And please feel free to move this if I haven't placed it in the correct or best thread/forum! :p

Have been playing KOTOR 1 again after over one and a half years away. Decided to download some of the mods to add some new content and excitement to the game. The list of mods I have installed are:

Animation Hide Weapons Mod

Brotherhood of Shadows - Solomons Revenge

Dialogue Add-On 2.0

High Resolution Textures

HUD Correction Fix

Jedi Training Area Module v2

KOTOR Cutscene sound improvement

KOTOR Ultimate 0.1

KOTOR Widescreen Mod

Lost Sith in a nameless world 1.1

Magenta Lightsabers v2

New Force Pack v2

Tomb of Jesset Dal Kest v2

Walking Fix

Weapons of the Old Republic 1.1

Yoda Style Short Lightsaber

The problem I'm having is that when Saul is torturing the party aboard the Leviathan, he asks to tell him the mission we have been sent on.

I reply: "[Persuade/Lie] We have been sent to assassinate Lord Malak"

Saul: "[Failure] Do you take me for a fool? The jedi are not assassins - they would never devise such a plan!"

Saul: "Perhaps you need a reminder of the consequences of refusing to cooperate."

When this line is spoken, it is supposed to run the script "k_plev_tortbast3" but what actually happens is I gain control of revan again, can walk out of my cage, can either start talking to Saul and begin the whole dialog again or walk out the interrogation room and use the computer console to free everyone.

I've tried using my very limited knowledge of programming/scripting to understand why the script is not running but have had zero luck so far!

Can anyone please help? Hopefully I've explained things clear enough, but if not, then just ask for whatever info you need!!

Cheers,

Stephen

For anyone who has read my post, I managed to find a way around the problem.

I just extracted the saul dialog file and using the DLG Editor, I changed the script that runs at that particular point in the conversation from "k_plev_tortbast3" to "k_plev_tortbast2"

I already knew the k_plev_tortbast2 script worked as it runs just a few lines earlier in the conversation.

So all in all, things seem to be working properly again!

Back to the game I go
