H2SO4 Posted December 12, 2000 Share Posted December 12, 2000 I got the full demo install off a cover CD, and it won't install on Win2K, it comes up with this error: Title: "16 bit Windows Subsystem" Message: "D:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\CONFIG.NT. Thw system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications." Now, it says it works on Win2K systems, but it won't install, I really want to play the demo, so after not being able to install it on my machine, I went to a win98 machine downstairs and installed it, then coppied the files across and made a copy of the registry keys. I merged the keys and ran the MnkyDemo.exe, did an analyse and it came up fine, so I go and play, because its the full demo I get the intro, which plays fine right up until Elaine punches GB for the second time, when the game drops to the desktop... I am completly baffeled, I changed it to 16-bit mode after it dropped the second time, it still doesn't work. My machine is an AMD-K6 2 350MHz, 192MB RAM, 8MB Matrox G200 Millenium...
