Guybrush looking straight up on Monkey Island (the island)

Has anyone else had this problem? On Monkey Island, whenever Guybrush walks near a relative item and the appropriate sentence pops up, Guybrush's head looks straight up into the sky. Why is this? Has anyone else experiences this???

In EFMI, Guybrush looks at the objects he can interact with when he goes near them.

I have the same problem.

It started when I used the Picker to get the Sheilds in Le Chuck's church....ever since then Guybrush walks around with his head looking straight up in the air....it's annoying but doesn't cause any problems.
