I loved Escape from Monkey Island and would like to play the first three games. (I'd actually like to understand the inside jokes!) Unfortunately, they appear to be PC only. So I figured I'd buy a PC emulator and run them on that. Unfortunately again, LucasArts lists them as capable of running only on Windows 95, and I can't find any emulators that will emulate 95. Can the first three Monkey Islands run on anything other than Win 95? Like Windows 98, perhaps? Better yet, could they run on an emulator at all? I assumed the would, being only 2D games. brief Posted September 16, 2001 Share Posted September 16, 2001 The first two games are actually DOS games, so even a Windows 95 emulator, should one exist, would probably not work. If you can find a DOS emulator, it'll probably work.
