L4serK!LL Posted September 18, 2001 Posted September 18, 2001 When I reach Jumbalay Island and try to climb the stairs at the harbor, the game just exits itself! It happens everytime... I have installed the patch from LucasArts. What's the problem and how do I solve this??

Guest grannen Posted September 21, 2001 Posted September 21, 2001 My guess is that you are using a DVD. If you have a CD burner installed then try using that one. I don't mean you should burn a new CD but install and play from the CD unit ------------------ and Grannen

But I'm already using my cd burner as unit to read the discs so then there should be something wrong with my plextor? Maybe I could try to install the game completely so I don't need the cd when playing and see where that brings us...?
L4serK!LL Posted September 22, 2001 Author Posted September 22, 2001 OK, I picked full install and used a no-cd crack to prevent the game from trying to access the cd... The problem still remains so the cd itself or the cd drive doesn't cause the crash... Other possibilities??
Guest grannen Posted September 22, 2001 Posted September 22, 2001 I have only 3 suggestions. 1. In the EMI Menu select options and configure for 16 bit and Open GL 2. Check that you have the latest driver for your graphic card. 3. Reinstall Windows. (I'm not kidding, it might fix it!) ------------------ and Grannen
L4serK!LL Posted September 23, 2001 Author Posted September 23, 2001 I've installed Win 98 SE but how do I keep my saved games?? I set up MI4 and copied the dir Saves to the MI4-dir but the saves don't appear in the list within the game... And I don't feel like playing the first two acts all over again so how do I import them?
