Guybrush is always right... Literally

I decided to replay EFMI, and after installing it on my computer discovered that Guybrush refuses to turn left. The left arrows just don't work. Is this a common problem? Or should I just try re-installing. Any help is appreciated.

Never heard about that problem.

If the keyboard arrows are OK then my only suggestion is to go

here and install the Update 1.1.

Ah thanks alot. That seem to fix it. Although, holding down the left key makes Guybrush turn as though you were tapping the left key, but it makes little difference to the game.

 

Now that I can spend less time monkeying around with moving Guybrush, I can get back to that pirate slinging bolders at my house
