Jonny Haggis
I have played and completed The secret of Monkey Island many times and it's still my favourite of the three games. however, in all the times I've played it I've never seen the close up of the dog in the Scummbar (I forget its name though) which is shown on the back of the box! Is it possible to actually see this screenshot or was it removed from the game before release(maybe it's an Easter-egg?!). Please help ------------------ Jonny Haggis
Zombie Monkey
*fires up emulator* *converses with the dog in the bar* Well, it's not in the amiga version either. It's actually quite common that old out-of-date screenshots make it to the boxes, sometimes showing cut-out scenes. ------------------ I am listening... Ydon
They did that with Half-Life's box, I spent hours playing through the game to find the scientist interogation sequence, before I learned it'd been left out.
LeChuck1587246204
Yeah I remember playing HalfLife and thinking that oh there must be quite a bit left in the game considering that I havent seen the whole interogation part yet. Then I reached Xen and was confused and wondering where the hell is there gonna be a interogation scene here?!?!?!?
Lechuck13
You might be able to view that using SCUMMrevisited. It allows you to view the backgrounds, character animations, music, cutscenes, palettes, etc. of any LA adventure game. search aroundon yahoo, and i'm sure you'll find a site you can download it from. The dog cutscene just might be in there. ------------------ "That's the second biggest monkey head I've ever seen!" -Guybrush Threepwood
